Research and development drives us toward the future.

In the health and amenity business field, we have been focusing our R&D resources on dietary supplements for lifestyle diseases, such as hypertension and diabetes, and anti-aging, while seeking new themes in the biomedical area. We are conducting application research on Konjac-derived ceramide and sugar beet derived L-arabinose, both already on the market, and are studying mushrooms, including the very rare "Hanabiratake."
In addition to ceramide and L-arabinose, under the concept of recycling unused materials, we have succeeded in obtaining beta-cryptoxanthin - an anti-aging and skin-whitening ingredient - from Satsuma mandarin pulp and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) - a very effective substance for lowering the blood pressure - from the unused parts of fresh asparagus.
