Unitika provides thermostable enzymes derived from thermophilic organisms.
These enzymes are useful for in vitro diagnostic reagents for clinical chemistry and other enzymatic analyses.
Among them, our DIAPHORASE I is one of the most versatile enzymes.
As the DIAPHORASE I catalyzes the reduction of pigments to dye and oxidation of NADH or NADPH, the DIAPHORASE I is the key component of dry chemistry especially for POCT (point of care testing) devices.
Coupled with Glucose dehydrogenase, the DIAPHORASE I produces dye in proportion to Glucose. In the same manner, many other substrates can be measured with the respective dehydrogenases.
