Cutting direction of UNILATE® |
||
|
UNILATE® has a machine direction (generally called MD, or flow direction) and a transverse direction (generally called TD, or perpendicular direction). The craft paper used for packing UNILATE bears a label with an arrow to show the direction of the plate. The arrow shows the MD. When cutting a pattern from UNILATE, make sure that the long side direction of the pattern is along the MD. (When the short side direction of the pattern is along the MD, its warp is larger.)
