Annealing

Objective : To prevent dimensional shrinkage of finished goods
Recommended : Any application where high dimensional stability is required at temperature over 80°C

*Anneal : Heat processing to defuse residual stress in plastic materials

Process

Process:

  • (1) Increase temperature to 180°C from room temperature over 2 hours
  • (2) Keep 180°C for 1 hour
  • (3) Gradually reduce temperature to room temperature over 8 hours

[Difference of dimension between Annealed and Non annealed after processing at 160°C×30min]

* To prevent heat aging, SC ,NC ,CV grade and white products are up to under 160°C.
