"UNILATE™" is a series of plate materials for which polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resins compounded with glass staple fibers, inorganic fillers, and such are extruded into sheets and then laminated and heat-pressed.
UNILATE™ features superior heat resistance, withstand voltage, strength and processability compared to the plates of other thermoplastic resins such as nylon and polyacetal.
For electrical insulation applications, UNILATE™ shows significantly improved water-absorbing and electrical properties, as well as processability in comparison with thermosetting resin laminated sheets.
