While serving as the key factory that works closely with our polymers and performance materials divisions, the Uji Plant is also home to the Unitika Group’s Research & Development Center, our research and development as well as production hub in Japan. These facilities supply the kind of high value-added, high-quality products that Japan is renowned for.

We are working on a comprehensive technology transfer that includes training local employees at Emblem Asia, our global strategic base for Emblem nylon films used in packaging business base, as we work closely with our production locations to expand markets. On top of that, we are focusing on the production and sales of high value-added products across the board.
