Adhesion
What is an “Adhesion” ?
In laminated film, “Adhesion” refers to the bonding strength between layers (films/adhesives or films/inks etc.).
If adhesion is not strong enough, the followings happen:
- Delamination caused by water ingress when retorting or boiling
- Breakage caused by expansion of heated air during boiling
- Remaining of the sealant film onto plastic container when opening the lid
