Polyester [PET (polyethylene terephthalate) resins]

Unitika offers a line of polyester resins suitable for a variety of molding methods. These resins can be used to produce highly transparent moldings with glossy surfaces that have well-balanced performance, including excellent mechanical properties and chemical resistance. These products are used by our customers to mold containers—especially those designed for cosmetics and medical use—and to produce a wide range of items, including films, sheets, non-woven fabrics, and fibers. We are able to customize and develop polyester resins using the polymerization technology we have developed to date.
