Nylon Resin

Nano-Composite Nylon6

Mechanical Properties

Relationship with Water Absorption

The relationships of the flexural strength and modulus with the water absorption are shown in Figures 1 and 2.
Like common nylon 6 resins, the M1030DH resin decreases its strength and modulus by absorbing water, but retains other properties at higher level than an inorganic-fillered nylon 6 (A3130).

Relationship with Temperature

In Figures 3 and 4, the relationships of the flexural strength and modulus with temperature are shown. The M1030DH resin exhibits properties similar to those of an inorganic-fillered nylon 6 (A3130). Use this graphs as reference date in estimating the properties of your products in the desirable use-temperature range.
