In 1972, Unitika developed a unique spunbond manufacturing technology at its Central Research Laboratory in Uji, Kyoto Prefecture.
Later on, the company built a plant in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture, as a production base. Since then, Unitika has accumulated a wealth of experience and built an outstanding track record as the pioneer in the field of spunbond nonwoven fabric.

Production of spunlace nonwoven fabric began in 1993 at the Tarui Plant in Gifu Prefecture.
In 1997, the company established an affiliated company, TUSCO, in Thailand as an overseas production and sales base.

Unitika Nonwovens Division has always moved with the times for almost 40 years since its foundation.
With a total of five bases in Japan and abroad. We are working dedicatedly to meet our customer needs.
