Participation in Initiatives

In March 2022, the Unitika Group endorsed the GX League Basic Concept, which was announced by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). We have continued to endorse this concept since the beginning of its full-scale operation in April 2023, and are working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

In June 2022, the Unitika Group also announced our endorsement of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) Recommendations, and carried out climate change risk analyses and scenario analyses. We will continue to disclose further information going forward.
