Transition from SoR (Recording system for the accumulation of data) to SoE (Engagement system to create good connections between customers and society)

• Supply Chain Management: Reform and innovate communications and strengthen relations with suppliers using digital technologies

DX Measures for Personnel

The training and education of DX personnel is an important initiative of our DX Vision. By making our employees more digitally-aware, we are reforming and innovating Unitika’s organizational culture and setting up an environment for the training and education of personnel who will help us to achieve sophisticated digital transformation.

DX Personnel Training & Education Initiatives

Setting Up an Environment for Learning

We are setting up an e-learning environment for employees to study about digital technologies, so that we can cultivate digital transformation personnel who can make innovations and improvements, and have advanced work and business analysis skills. The students are able to independently select what they will study in the e-learning courses, which gives them more autonomy and self-direction in their studies. We trialed the e-learning system in November 2022, and in FY 2023 we expanded the student intake to 220 employees as part of our personnel training and education efforts.

DX Skills & Definition of DX Levels

We have categorized the skills required by digital transformation personnel into four categories. We are training and educating these personnel to enhance their work and business analysis skills, so they can set targets for and achieve innovations and improvements.
  We have also defined the levels of DX into four levels from 0 to 3, with the aim of training and educating personnel who can reform and innovate processes and create businesses.
